Created dats for Calice v0.3.6

I have also written some pages on the subject of CMPro and RomCenter data file creation.

Anyone who is thinking of creating their own data files or who wants an insight into what I do should find them interesting.

They are available from the menu on the left, under the heading of Dat FAQs.

I'm going to be away for a few days now so please save any questions until after I come back.

Released DatUtil v1.11:

- Added some warnings for bad quality RomCenter dats

- Added directory scanning feature (reads ZIPs and subdirectories).
- Calice loader now uses the main driver code, not 'verifyroms'.
- RomCenter 2 loader fixes missing 'romof' details automatically.

Released v1.7 of ROMBuild:

Added Speed Freak for Cinelator 95 Beta.
Now compiled using MinGW and the -Wall option (for clean code).

Added Speed Freak CRCs to the Cinelator 95 dat in the older emus archive.

New dats are now online.
If you've used the incorrect dats, move any ZIPs dated today out of your ROMs directory and build them back in using RomCenter/CMPro.

MAME v0.37b15 has been released.

Released the usual MAME dats and some new MAME Changes dats.

If you're a technical user and want details of how to build your own MingW environment then head on over to my 'How To Compile MAMEW' page. This guide has been written for anyone that doesn't want a ready packaged version. ;)

Please don't bombard me with questions though, it is for technically competent people only!

Released DatUtil v1.8:

- Fixed a minor bug in the '-m' feature (bug introduced in v1.7).
- Now compiled with MinGW (no long filename problems on NT now).

Quick note: Re-uploaded the Nebula archives to include a fixed Super Puzzle Fighter 2 X driver.

CPS2Shock has released XORs for Super Puzzle Fighter 2 X so I've updated the dats for:

There are also some new CPS-2 dumps and ROM renames included in these dats.

The NewZealand Story (another emulator by the author of ACE).

The Visual PinMAME Tables dat is back again but now owned and maintained by Mila76.

Seeing as AJ is now including all relevant files in his PinMAME archives (readme.txt etc) the dats are a practical way to maintain your table collections. Today's release should bring you up to date.

CPS2Shock has released XORs for D&D: Shadow over Mystara (US) so I've updated the dats for:

CPS-2, Nebula v1.3, Calice v0.2.6.

The Visual PinMAME Tables dat has now been discontinued too. This is for two reasons:

1) Willman has suffered a hard disk crash and lost all his tables.
2) I no longer believe dats are suitable for this purpose. Just download new tables when you see them!

CPS2Shock has released XORs for D&D: Tower of Doom (Japan) so I've updated the dats for:

CPS-2, Nebula v1.3, Calice v0.2.6.

The new CPS-2 dat also includes details of the new dumps by Team Japump and Naz.

Another release of the Nebula v1.1 dats.
I have added the missing clones that can be emulated and corrected the way a couple of games are loaded by Nebula.
The required Nebula driver files for these additions and fixes are also included in the archive.

Uploaded dats for Mimic v1.05 (13 games added, including some non-MAME games).

Update! Please re-download the MAME dat for RomCenter if you use fully merged sets.

Also, Nebula v1.1 now has the correct CRC information for all games so the dat is 100% correct (i.e. no changes required).
