This has been sitting on my hard drive for a while now so here you go, DatUtil v1.13:

- Supports CPSE driver file.
- Added 'ignore funny size' option (-z) for non-arcade dats.
- Added 'make lower case' option (-l). Affects names and CRCs.
- Puts "s around empty CMPro header items.
- Fixed directory/zip scanner for ROM names containing spaces.
- Fixed zip scanner to strip uppercase '.ZIP' from game names.
- Improved the 'funny size' warning relating to RomCenter 2 dats.

Found a bit of time so I've made data files for Nebula v1.91b

I have important things to finish at work and until they're done there will be no new Nebula dat or any other updated emulator dats. Hopefully things will be back to normal after this weekend but I can't be sure (the job has to be done, no matter how many hours I must put in). I'm sure you can all understand!

How spooky is this... the day after I released MAMEMD5 to detect CRC conflicts, one appears in an emulator (Kingdom Grand Prix in this release of RAINE). It feels like I've entered Twilight Zone. ;)

I could have released them at 23:30 last night (it's now 21:30) but I wanted to get the missing details for Prehistoric Isle 2.
As it happens no-one knows anything about the needed ROMs so I have released the dats as they are.

29 today... into the last year of my twenties!

I am looking for one or two people that can assist me in posting arcade related news items for CAESAR. It would be nice if I can take a break occasionally and have people keep an eye out for emulator releases whilst I'm away (obviously important I don't miss anything for CAESAR's sake). If you think you could help me out then please drop me an e-mail and I'll explain the methods for monitoring web pages etc.

I also start a new job soon so my spare time will be greatly reduced and I will be looking to get a couple of helpers together for the dat maintenance (hence the FAQ I wrote about them). If you have read my FAQ and understand it completely then I would also like to hear from you if you wish to join up. The most common dat updates are CPS-2 related (every week) so it would be helpful if I could have one person responsible for each emulator and prepare dats for me so I can update the site quickly and not waste too much of my precious time. Please only offer your services if you're sure you are up to it though!
